I am a registered patent agent (#74,387) with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). I have decades of eclectic experience in medical research and computer technology. I have worked in a variety of venues, including the corporate, academic, governmental and freelance sectors, including:

• Freelance translator – Translating German, French and Spanish patent, engineering and medical documents into English
• Manager of a research-based dental school database at University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC)
• Academic computing supervisor at UIC
• Statistical software consultant/instructor at UIC
• Technical support, programming and consultation at IBM (statistical software)
• Research programmer in clinical studies at G.D. Searle (pharmaceutical company)
• Computer site manager, statistical consultant, instructor for several medical school departments at Northwestern University

I have participated in over a dozen research projects within these organizations and am an author or co-author is as many research publications. In addition, my reading knowledge of several foreign languages gives me the unique ability to analyze and understand engineering and scientific disciplines from an international perspective.
